Dear Arkansas Children's Hospital Supporter:
This year we are sponsoring our 6th charity golf tournament benefiting the patients of Arkansas Children's Hospital in honor of Lindsey Drue Crowder. Lindsey is the daughter of Todd and Lisa Crowder of Dean Crowder Construction, Inc. She is a two-time cancer survivor. Lindsey was first diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in November of 2001. Her cancer remained in remission until February of 2006 when she relapsed. Lindsey underwent very harsh relapse chemotherapy treatment and has been in remission since November of 2007. Today, Lindsey is a healthy, active 11 year old. Unfortunately, there are many children that are still sick and their desparate families need our support.
Since the inception of this tournament in 2006, over $200,000 has been donated to Arkansas Children's Hospital. This money has been used to provide gas cards, grocery cards, money for lodging and travel expenses and sadly even funds to help with funeral expenses. Without your generosity, this money would not have been available for these families.
Please pencil in the date on your calendar and make arrangements to attend. Thursday night we will host a Golfer's Appreciation dinner with added fun of a silent auction and a live band. Friday is the golf tournament and we will be serving breakfast, snacks, and drinks.
Our goal this year is $50,000! We know that this is ambitious but with your help and participation anything is possible.
